2 March 2006 Concert

A concert of classical music was held to raise funds in support of St Botolph's (LOPO's "home").

The concert was a great success and raised £500 for the invaluable work that St Botolph's does in the Aldgate area of the City of London. The local community around the Church is very multi-cultural and St Botolph's has always been known for its work with the young people, the elderly and the homeless from all sectors.

The Rev Dr Brian Lee, Rector of St Botolph's welcomed everyone into the warmth of the Church on the cold evening and introduced the concert.

The concert was conducted by Nicholas Zaklama and started with Ravel's "Pavane pur une infante défunte" with a beautiful harp solo by Rohan Platts.
