On 7 July 2005, London was shaken by four devastating bomb blasts and, one year later, LOPO is organising a concert to remember that terrible day and to look to the future. The concert will bring together people of all nationalities, backgrounds, beliefs and religions to remember all those affected by war and oppression and to look forward to a time of world peace.

From London to Maternity

Many babies and mothers in the Gambia die of diseases or problems of childbirth that are largely consigned to our history books here in the so-called “developed world”. LOPO is organising a concert to raise money to help build a maternity unit at the Nyofelleh Health Centre.
